Starting INSPECTEXPRESS™ Home Inspection Software
Installing INSPECTEXPRESS™ from the CD-ROM:
Windows 95/98/ME/XP/2000/NT Installation Instructions:
(Microsoft Word 2000/2002/XP/2003)
To Install:
1. Begin at the Windows Desktop.
2. Insert the INSPECTEXPRESS™ Software
disk into your CD-ROM.
3. INSPECTEXPRESS™ start-up window should appear.
4. Click the 'Install' button, and follow the onscreen instructions to
install the program.
If the INSPECTEXPRESS™ start-up window does not appear automatically onscreen, you can install the program
manually.
1. Click the Start button on the task bar and choose Run.
2. Type D:\SETUP.exe in the line labeled Open (if your CD-ROM drive
uses a letter other than D, substitute for D).
3. Click the OK button and follow the onscreen instructions to install
the INSPECTEXPRESS™ program.
Installing INSPECTEXPRESS™ from the Internet:
Download the file from the server or location, save onto your harddrive.
1. After downloading double click the downloaded
file and the Installation License screen will appear.
2. You must agree to the license before you can continue.
3. Click the OK button and follow the onscreen instructions to install
INSPECTEXPRESS™.
*Note: When you start INSPECTEXPRESS™, Microsoft Word will be opened with a new 'INSPECTEXPRESS™' toolbar. Select 'Start' from either the menu or the toolbar to launch the INSPECTEXPRESS™ program.
When INSPECTEXPRESS™ launches, Microsoft Word 2000/2002/XP/2003 performs a macro virus scan. It will be indicated on the status bar at the bottom when the virus scan is running.
The INSPECTEXPRESS™ toolbar will not load until the macro virus scan has been completed.
Macro Security Certificate:
When you first run INSPECTEXPRESS™, you may be presented with "Security Warning" window. This will enable DevWave Software Inc. to be added as a trusted source so that you can continue to run INSPECTEXPRESS™ with your security settings on 'high'. To view our certificate, click on the 'Details' button on the window.
To add DevWave Software Inc. as a trusted source, check the
'Always trust macros
from this source.' check box and click on the 'Enable
Macros' button.
