Installing Microsoft Photo Editor Software:

Microsoft Photo Editor ships with Microsoft Office 97/2000 Office XP and the stand-alone versions of Microsoft Word 97/2000 and Microsoft PowerPoint 97/2000. Microsoft Photo Editor is installed when you perform a custom or complete installation from the compact disc.

After you have installed Office 97/2000, you can also install Photo Editor and other Office 97/2000 components by following these steps:

  1. Insert the Office 97/2000 CD-ROM.
  2. The installer should start automatically. If it does not, use Windows Explorer to browse the CD-ROM and double click Setup (or Setup.exe, depending on your Windows Explorer display settings).
  3. In the installation options, click Add/Remove.
  4. Select Office Tools, then click Change Option.
  5. Make sure the box next to Photo Editor is checked.
  6. Click OK, then Continue to install Photo Editor.
